GAMING fans have an exciting day in store today – Hogwarts Legacy is out now
The much-hyped Hogwarts game is finally available – read on to find out where to buy.
HOGWARTS Legacy is the long-awaited open-world RPG set in Harry Potter’s school of Hogwarts.
However, you won’t meet The Boy Who Lived and his friends here. You start your own wizarding journey a hundred years before he’s born.
Harry Potter games have had mixed receptions over the years, but Hogwarts Legacy appears to be breaking the spell.
Here’s everything you need to know about Hogwarts Legacy and how to get your hands on it.
Hogwarts Legacy: where to buy
If you pre-ordered the game, you will be able to download the game and start playing as soon as it hits launch time.
It’s available from most major retailers, including Amazon:
- Hogwarts Legacy: PS5 – £58.95
- Hogwarts Legacy PS4 – £54.95
- Hogwarts Legacy: Xbox Series X – £57.95
- Hogwarts Legacy: Xbox Series X|S digital code – £64.99
- Hogwarts Legacy: Xbox One – £54.95
It’s also available to buy at Currys, GAME and John Lewis.
You can also pre-order Hogwarts Legacy by going to the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store via your PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S.
It is also available for PC and Nintendo Switch, and can be purchased via Steam or Epic Games Store.
What month will Hogwarts Legacy come out?
Hogwarts Legacy has a global release date of Friday, February 10, 2023.
It will be released at midnight local time, as the clock ticks over to February 10.


When can you play Hogwarts Legacy early?
Those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition received 72-hours early access to the game.
This began on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, but you can access the game now as soon as you purchase.
It’s about £10 ($10) more expensive than the standard version, but will allow you to play as early as possible.
If you have already ordered the standard version there is still a way to gain access hours earlier than usual.
Changing your location to New Zealand will allow you to access the game as soon as it releases there.
