A FEMALE server has a clean conscience ever after her customers leave dirty dishes and make rude assumptions.
Dez is tired of hearing people say she should get an education while working at a restaurant.
The proud service industry employee (@dzshc1) clarified her occupation stance in a TikTok video.
Dez sat in the back of the house where all the restaurant supplies get stored.
She wore a gray zip-up with a black V-neck shirt poking through.
Her caption read: “Server life.”

Dez reenacted a typical conversation with people who pass judgment on her life choices.
“What do you do for a living?” they ask her.
She will respond: “I’m a server.”
“Aw, there’s nothing wrong with that,” they’ll say back to her. “Are you also in school?”
The annoyed worker turned her head to the side, breaking character.
“I cannot keep having the same conversation,” she said.
Viewers stuck up for Dez in the comments, emphasizing their understanding of her feelings.
“Like yeah I know there’s nothing wrong with making a week’s pay in 3 days,” a supporter wrote.
Another restaurant worker admitted: “I was in an Uber, and he asked me what I do for work. When I said I was a server, he goes, ‘oh, is that your side gig?'”
“Literally the way people are like don’t worry, it’s not forever, you’ll find a better job! I’m like girlie, I promise I make more than you do,” one man added.
A passionate person commented: “THIS ONE. I hate when family or customers say “and there’s nothing wrong with that!” Uh, did I say it was?”
One understanding viewer said: “I’m like, no, bro, my only personality trait is that I am a server.”
