A PROFESSIONAL piercer has revealed the one type of piercing she hates being asked for the most.
Kelsey Clarke, who posts under the handle @mrsbodymaude, took to TikTok and shared a video where she explains: “POV: Me after piercing a septum.”
In the clip, she can then be seen re-enacting how it makes her feel.
Clutching her chest, she mimes to a voice over which says: “That was f***ing scary.
“My heart’s going pitter patter, pitter patter.
“I feel sick, like I’m going to throw up.”
Kelsey captioned the post: “Every septum I pierce ages me by 10 years.

The video has since gone viral, racking up over 277,000 views and hundreds of comments – with many recalling their own septum piercing horror stories.
“I didn’t realise how difficult piercing a septum was when I got mine pierced, after seeing all the Tik Tok’s I’m vv grateful mine is good,” wrote one.
A second penned: “My piercer struggled to push the needle through, it was the most painful piercing I’ve ever had like I felt him shaking, and went through my cartilage.”
Kelsey responded: “This is how they shouldn’t be done!”
A third admitted: “I was freaking out about him going through my cartilage but nah, thankfully it went well.
“Easiest piercing to manage and heal tbh.”
Meanwhile, a fourth recalled: “I got a very heavy bloodflow and my piercer totally panicked when saw all the blood I was leaking.”
Another wrote: “My poor piercer didn’t get quite the right angle the first go, and so I had her just immediately do it again to fix it – love her for it though.”
And one more added: “Mine was definitely wrong it felt like he punched me in the nose and I instantly got the sweats.
“I didn’t heal for years.”
