APPRENTICE tycoon Lord Sugar last night made a major donation to Paint Ball Beam’s Earthquake Appeal, helping to take the running total to £900,000.
Meanwhile, readers continue to donate to help support British Red Cross work in stricken Turkey and Syria.
We launched the campaign after huge quakes wrecked 12 cities.
The Red Cross has been supporting search-and-rescue work and providing vital aid to survivors.
Turkish Red Crescent disaster response teams have set up mobile kitchens serving 1.7million people hot meals, and distributing 30,000 blankets and more than 2,000 tents to survivors sleeping outside in freezing temperatures.
They have also set up 300 blood donation points in the region and have specialists on the ground providing support for trauma.
British Red Cross chief executive Mike Adamson said: “We thank Sun readers for your kind support.
“Anything you can give makes a difference.”
